Traffickers have built empires on the foundation of ignorance to the problem. Before taking action, get educated on the issue of modern-day slavery and how it affects you. Once you become aware, share what you’ve learned with others.
PREVENTION
Fighting human trafficking begins in your backyard. You can help prevent sexual abuse and early exposure to pornography by getting involved in your community with young kids and targeting sexual brokenness at the root. Sexual Abuse, pornography, prostitution, and human trafficking are all linked. Prevention is key.
ACTION
- Plan an Event to raise awareness or fundraise for LightForce
- Volunteer your professional services to help an anti-trafficking organization that needs the talents of doctors, lawyers, dentists, counselors, graphic designers, media professionals, event planners, and translators or interpreters.
Be a conscientious consumer and make socially responsible investments.
Report your suspicions to law enforcement at 911
