Laura Perry, Assistant Director

After graduating from Asbury University in May 2010, God opened the door for Laura, another Lexington, Ky. native, to join Anna in Central America. Laura and Anna had grown up together, so when LightForce was founded, Laura saw this as more than a job opportunity. It was a chance to fight with a friend and sister.

In the summer of 2009, God opened Laura’s eyes and heart to the issue of exploitation. While spending a month in India working with little girls who had been saved from sex trafficking, God showed her the wickedness of such an industry but also His restorative power and love through these little ones. After such an experience and accumulation of knowledge, there is a responsibility to act.

Her heart and passion is to see the love of God transform and restore the hope of innocence into the lives of the hurting and broken, whomever they are and wherever they are.
