Sarah McQueen, Executive Assistant

Sarah McQueen is a 2009 graduate of Asbury University and a 2011 graduate of The University of Kentucky. Upon graduating from UK, Sarah spent five weeks as an intern with Lightforce, having learned of the opportunity through Laura Perry, Assistant Director and fellow Asbury alumnus. While she was aware of some of the issues surrounding prostitution and exploitation, her eyes were opened to the complexities of the industry. Yet at the same time, the Lord was sweet to impress upon her that He is sufficient for the needs of his people and that He is a God that has the power to redeem and restore.

As the Executive Assistant, Sarah works closely with Anna Carroll, the Executive Director, to schedule travel and speaking engagements. She also works to coordinate meetings and other communications on behalf of the Executive Director and handles clerical needs as they arise. Sarah feels blessed to get the chance to work administratively to help Lightforce fulfill its mission. Her desire is that men, women and children affected by prostitution and exploitation might understand their full potential, allowing Jesus Christ to bring healing and wholeness.
